Secret 7 Critique

Secret 7 Critique

This critique was with the group we are going to work in for the next three weeks, so we can get used to compromising and the way each other work. The people in my group are:
Jasper
Dan
Will

and also Alex & Laura but they both wasn't here today for the critique.

We all took it in turns for every one to speak and then help them decided on the final Vinyl they would enter into the competition.

I showed them these examples:

This was the first one i showed them, they liked the heart shape and the simplicity of it. But they said maybe to add even more detail into the heart shape to make it more complicated. Ans also to emphasis the complicated side to maybe hang more keys to show which one will be used.

These are both very similar and they thought they not fitting with the artist which i agree because Jessie Ware is very simple and minimalistic. The colours are a bit too varying too therefore making it difficult to look at.

This one they thought was good and minimalistic although thought maybe more confusion in the heart maybe could be shown.

This one they also liked with the link to the words in the songs but they maybe thought adding the heart from the key vinyl to this and making it so it is more in the eye rather than been on top.

These are very similar and they liked these but thought the others was stronger than this, which i agree.

This one does not work as well as i thought it would from my thumbnails and i they thought that the type didn't work very well which i agree.

I think this critique has been valuable and has given me different opinions due to the group of friends i have asked about the vinyls are all girls and the feedback i have received is now all from boys in my critique. I have decided the ones i am going to edit and then compare are:

This one i am going to neaten up the heart and try out other designs with will make i more complicated! Then also try hanging other keys like Will said to emphasis the meaning of confusion.

This one i am going to use the heart from above when neatened and make it so it is more embeaded into the eye rather than just placing it on top.
